FIVE STRAIGHT: SIUE will conclude its five-match homestand Tuesday with a 6 p.m. match against Eastern Illinois. The Cougars' final regular season match of the season is next Saturday at Tennessee State.
SEASON BESTS: Mallory Mangun, who is now 155th nationally in assists per game at 9.44, set another personal best in assists with 67 against Southeast Missouri State.
SCOUTING TENNESSEE TECH: Tennessee Tech has lost its last eight straight OVC contests. Its last OVC win was Oct. 4 with a five-set triumph at UT Martin. The Golden Eagles have two blockers among the top 10 in the OVC. Madison Keyes is seventh in the OVC with 0.87 blocks per set while Cody Dodd is ninth at 0.82 per set. TTU is fourth in blocks overall in the OVC.
SCOUTING JACKSONVILLE STATE: Sophomore Emily Rutherford is the Gamecocks' top hitter with 3.68 points per set. She is among the league leaders in kills with 300 in 91 sets. Jacksonville State, which has lost its last six matches, has the fourth best hitting percentage in the OVC at .186.
NO. 6/11 NATIONALLY: SIUE climbed up to No. 6 in the nation in digs per set (17.97) and leads the OVC. The Cougars are coming off a 122-dig performance against Southeast Missouri. Chelsea Colclasure leads the OVC in digs per set at 5.53 after recording a career-high 39 against Southeast Missouri.
500 CLUB: Colclasure became the first player in school history to record 500 or more digs in each of her first three seasons. She is 130 digs shy of the school record set by Allison Buss (2002-05)
