EDWARSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE women's tennis recorded its first win at home with a 7-0 victory over Evansville Saturday.

The Cougars improve to 2-2 during the spring season with the win. Despite the loss Friday to Saint Louis, SIUE Head Coach Nick Mueller said he was pleased with the weekend's matches.

"We had a good weekend overall," said Mueller. "We learned a lot about ourselves during Friday's match. Saint Louis is a very good team, so it was a great test for us. We carried what we learned into today's match against Evansville."
