STILLWATER, Okla. - SIUE women's tennis closed out the fall season with two singles wins in the last day of the ITA Regional tournament hosted by Oklahoma State.

Freshmen Madeline Hill and Morgan Steffes overcame opponents from Missouri and Nebraska, respectively, to record SIUE's singles wins during day three of the tournament.

Hill, along with Lexi Aranda and Mia Frogner, won two singles matches during the tournament. Also recording singles wins were Monique Krutak, McKenzie Thomas, and Sierra Halverson

The doubles pair of Frogner and Halverson recorded a doubles win for the team over Saint Louis during day one.

Hill and Thomas closed out the season for the Cougars, both falling to Tulsa after two long battles.

"I'm very proud of our team's efforts over the last three days," said Head Coach Nick Mueller. "Madeline and McKenzie were the last two playing today, and they both gave courageous efforts versus two of Tulsa's best players. It was such a positive way to finish our fall competition."

The Cougars begin their spring season Jan. 23 at Missouri.
