Cougars Travel to IPFW

         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's tennis team will return to the court Friday with two matches in Ft. Wayne, Ind. The Cougars are coming off a week break and hold a 3-3 record on the season.
         Their last match against Valparaiso on Jan. 31 ended in a 5-2 SIUE victory. The Cougars picked up singles wins from Laura Horning (Oakville, Ontario), Kelsey Laird (Bloomington), Ali Wulfers (Normal), and Amanda Niebur (Edwardsville). The Cougars also swept the doubles point with three wins.
         The Cougars will attempt to take the momentum from the Valparaiso victory into this weekend when they face Robert Morris (Pa.) Friday at 1 p.m. The Colonials will enter the weekend with a 1-3 record.
         Following the Robert Morris match the Cougars face IUPU-Ft. Wayne, 2-1, on Friday evening. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m. CT.
