• This is SIUE's seventh consecutive appearance in the OVC Tournament. The Cougars last won the OVC Tournament in 2014 when it was played at Jacksonville, Alabama.
• After multiple ties in the league standings, SIUE earned the No. 8 seed after a coin flip was needed to determine the top seed for the OVC Championship. A split this season vs. Southeast Missouri proved to be the difference.
• Freshman Jade Kranawetter singled home the game winner vs. Austin Peay in the eighth inning after Kloe Hilbrenner, also a freshman, tripled.
Alyssa Heren, Alana Cobb-Adams and Janie Smith are tied for the team lead in stolen bases with 15.
• SIUE is ranked six in team batting (.271). The Cougars are tied for second in triples (12).
• SIUE is 12-0 when leading after six innings.
Alyssa Heren is ranked 10th nationally in doubles per game (0.39).
Zoe Schafer became the sixth player in school history to reach the 20-home run mark in a career. She is fourth all-time with 21.
Alana Cobb-Adams had two triples in game one against UT Martin. That's the first time it has happened in the Division I era by a single player and the first time since SIUE Athletics Hall of Famer Katie Waldo did it in 2002.
