• SIUE's roster features six freshmen. The freshmen are Micah Arps (St. Louis, Missouri), Kloe Hilbrenner (Odessa, Missouri), Jade Kranawetter (Campbell Hill, Illinois), Kylie Lane (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), Sammie Ofoia (Pearl City, Hawaii) and Amber Storer (Lincoln, Nebraska.
• The Cougars also have two transfers - junior Amara Wylie (New Lebanon, Ohio/Asbury) and sophomore Bianca Vozenilek (Plainfield, Illinois/Rutgers).
• SIUE's 1-2 hitters (Alana Cobb-Adams and Alyssa Heren) lead the team in hits with eight.
• The Cougars are ranked No. 9 nationally in fielding percentage (.985). SIUE committed just two errors in four games at the Lion Classic II in Hammnd, Louisiana.
• Heren leads the Ohio Valley Conference in doubles per game (0.60) and is ranked 14th nationally.
• SIUE has three players ranked in the top five in stolen bases per game - Cobb-Adams, Arps and Janie Smith.
• Ofoia and Reagan Curtis have hit home runs already this season. For Ofoia, it was the first of her career. For Curtis, it was No. 6.
Corrina Rivas is just one of five players in the OVC who have recorded a save this season.
