LAST TIME OUT: SIUE (0-1-1) is coming off of a weekend of two hard fought battles. The Cougars ended their first game of the season in a 1-1 tie against Northern Colorado. Less than 36 hours later, they faced Colorado State, falling short 3-2. The Cougars took many positive steps as a team in their weeknd trip. 
 
HIGHLIGHTING THE COUGARS: On the weekend for the Cougars, Megan Danielson and MacKenzie Litzsinger scored the only two goals for the team. They found the back of the net with assists from Emma Dutko and Taylor Dolt. In goal for the Cougars, Bella Henderson played 167 minutes, ending the weekend with eight saves.

LAST MEETING: The Cougars last met with the Sycamores on August 24th at Korte Stadium (Edwardsville, Illinois), with the Sycamores coming away with a 3-1 victory. The two teams have battled against eachother seven different times. Indiana State leads the overall series 4-3. 
 
SCOUTING THE SYCAMORES: Prior to Friday evenings match, the Sycamores (0-3) will enter the game 0-2. The last match for the Sycamores was against Saint Louis on August 25th where they fell 2-1 agianst the Billikens. They currently have 14 shots on the season, with only 6 of them being on goal. The Sycomores only have scored on goal on the season coming from Katie Sidloski. In goal, the Sycomores have accumulated a total of 12 saves in two games. 
 
NEXT UP: After being on the road for three games straight, the Cougars will return to Korte Stadium on September 8th for their home opener. The Cougars will take on Missouri State with a kickoff time set for 2:00 p.m.
