FIRST KICKOFF: The Cougars will kickoff their season this weekend in Colorado.  The team returns many players, but adds just as many to the roster. SIUE concluded their preseason with a 4-0 win over IUPUI in their final exhibition match. The Cougars created many opportunities and look to do the same as the season begins.
LAST MEETING (Northern Colorado): The Cougars and the Bears last met on September 3rd, 2000, with the Bears coming up with the win, 3-0. The first inital meeting between the two teams was in 1988, when the Cougars fell short, 3-2. This is the only two times the teams have competed against eachother, giving the Bears a 2-0 series lead. SIUE has had home field advantage in the two previous matches and will travel to Northen Colorado for the first time in the series.
LAST MEETING (Colorado State): The Cougars and the Rams have an overall series record of 0-1-2. Two of the three matches played between the two have resulted in a scroeless draw. The last time these two teams met was at Korte Stadium (Edwardsville, Illinois) on September 8, 2017. The Courgars created many opportunties, but were unable to find the back of the net. Their only loss was on August 28, 2016 where the Cougars fell short 2-1 at Colorado State.
