Cougars Kickoff Now Set for 11 a.m.

TIME CHANGE: To avoid potential weather delays, kickoff has been moved up to 11 a.m.
SCOUTING THE RACERS: Murray State is coming into Sunday riding an eight-game unbeaten streak and sits atop the Ohio Valley Conference table. The Racers are led by Harriet Withers, the leading goal scorer (12) in the OVC. Withers also leads the conference in shots (86) and points (26). She has recorded six game-winning goals this season, which also leads the conference. MSU has allowed 10 goals on the year, with only two of those during conference play. Alex Steigerwald has played every minute in net for the Racers this season and has eight clean sheets, which is second best in the OVC. Steigerwald also holds the second highest save percentage in the conference. 
TOP PERFORMERS: Freshman MacKenzie Litzsinger is tied for first for the Cougars in points with nine (four goals, one assist). Senior Caroline Hoefert also has nine points (four goals, one assist) on the season. Peyton Roehnelt has scored all three of her goals during conference games, which is tied for sixth best in conference play this season. 
WHAT A PASS: Senior midfielder Emily Grahl is fourth in the OVC with five assists. Grahl is seventh all-time for SIUE in career assists with 20. 
WHAT A SAVE: Juli Rossi has 71 saves this season which is good for third in the OVC. Rossi has five shutouts, placing her tied for third in the conference. Rossi won the OVC Goalkeeper of the Week honors in week two this season.   
CONFERENCE LEADERS: In OVC play this season, the Cougars are second in the conference with 46 points and 17 goals. SIUE also is tied for second in assists per game (1.33). 
SIDE NOTES: Avery Anderson has scored all six (two goals, two assists) of her points in conference play this year. Ashlyn Walter has shot 21 times this season, recording one goal. Freshmen Andrea Frerker has started all 16 games for the Cougars, recording three points (one goal, one assist). 
NEXT UP: The Cougars are guaranteed a spot in the OVC Tournament which will begin Oct. 27th. Seeding will be determined following the completion of all regular season games.
