Women's Golf Completes First Round at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – SIUE women's golf is 11th following the first round of play at the Indiana State Spring Invitational completed Sunday at the Country Club of Terre Haute.

SIUE has a 324 and is two strokes behind Bradley and Northern Iowa, who are tied for ninth. Host Indiana State has a 306 to lead the team competition. William Woods has a 310 and is in second place. Western Illinois is third with a 313.

Alison Gorman and Serena Hou each finished with a 79 and are tied for 21st. Miranda Lidisky had an 82 and is tied for 41st. Brittney Jostes is tied for 60th with an 84. Molly Marcum has an 85 and is tied for 63rd. SIUE's individual, Morgan Clark, had an 88 and is tied for 73rd.

Butler's Laura Tibbets is the individual leader with an even-par 72. Rachel Johnson of Chicago State, Marissa Uradomo of Indiana State and Okland's Elle Nichols are tied for second place with a 74.

Weather permitting, Monday's final round will beegin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT.
