• Murray State is coming off a 75-67 road loss Thursday at Eastern Illinois.
• Evelyn Adebayo is No. 2 in the OVC in scoring with 18.3 points per game. She also leads the OVC in rebounding at 10.4 caroms per contest.
• Macey Turley is second in the OVC in assists per game (4.8).
Allie Troeckler's driving layup with 4.3 seconds remaining gave the Cougars a thrilling 69-68 win over Austin Peay. Sydney Bauman recorded a career-high 22 points and added her fifth double-double of the season with 11 rebounds.
• This is the seventh season for SIUE Head Coach Paula Buscher. She led the Cougars to a Women's Basketball Invitational appearance last season, the second such NCAA Division I postseason tournament appearance for SIUE.
• Coach Buscher recorded win No. 100 at SIUE against McKendree. She recorded her 300th career victory last season.
• This is the 19th meeting in the series. SIUE defeated Murray State 77-68 in the last meeting. SIUE has won the last three games in the series.
Sydney Bauman, who has 35 blocks this season, holds the SIUE single-season record for blocks (63) set last season and is the all-time leader in blocks at SIUE with 168.
• Bauman passed Kris Held (1988-91) for No. 10 on the all-time rebounds list and now has 635.
• Bauman is ranked 29th nationally in blocked shots (33) and 31st in blocks per game (2.20)
• Troeckler is the lone SIUE player to have started all 16 games this season.
• SIUE set a season high Thursday with 20 assists against Austin Peay.
Micah Jones was perfect from the field (5-5) Thursday and is now No. 33 on the all-time scoring list for SIUE with 877 points. She has 41 double-digit scoring outings in her collegiate career.
• SIUE is No. 5 nationally in three-point field goal percentage defense at 24.1 percent.
• SIUE hit 54.2 percent (26-48) of its shots from the field against Austin Peay. The team's best field goal percentage in a game this season previously was 46.2 percent (30-65) against UMKC.
• Coach Buscher announced four signees during early signing period. They include 5-9 guard Piper Francis (Mountain View, Missouri), 5-10 guard Tori Handley (Jeffersonville, Indiana), 5-11 forward Mikayla Kinnard (Louisville, Kentucky) and Ajulu Thatha (Indianapolis, Indiana).
