• Tennessee Tech broke Belmont's 47-game Ohio Valley Conference winning streak in its last outing, besting the Bruins 77-72. The Golden Eagles hold an OVC-leading five-game winning streak.
• Jordan Brock leads the team in scoring with 12.4 points per game. She leads the OVC in three-point field goal percentage at 42.9 percent.
• The Golden Eagles' Anacia Wilkinson is ranked 17th nationally and No. 1 in the OVC with 2.54 blocked shots per game.
•  Micah Jones (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Jay'nee Alston (12 points, 11 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles as SIUE corralled a 65-56 road victory at Eastern Illinois. Allie Troeckler was SIUE's leading scorer with 13 points. Nakiah Bell added 11 points.
• This is the seventh season for SIUE Head Coach Paula Buscher. She led the Cougars to a Women's Basketball Invitational appearance last season, the second such NCAA Division I postseason tournament appearance for SIUE.
• Coach Buscher recorded win No. 100 at SIUE against McKendree. She recorded her 300th career victory last season.
• This is the 12th meeting in the series. SIUE has won the last five contests and holds a 7-4 series edge.
• Five different players now have double-doubles this season. Christen King, Allie Troeckler and Jay'nee Alston all have had their first career double-doubles.
Micah Jones is No. 33 on the all-time scoring list for SIUE with 858 points. She has 40 double-digit scoring outings in her collegiate career.
• SIUE is No. 4 nationally in three-point field goal percentage defense at 22.1 percent. The best opponent three-point percentage in a game by an opponent was 33.3 percent when Chicago State hit 2 of 6 treys.
• SIUE outrebounded Eastern Illinois by 28 rebounds, the biggest differential since the 2009-10 season when the Cougars outrebounded Oakland City by 33 caroms.
• The Cougars scored a season-high 31 points off the bench in the win over Eastern Illinois.
• Coach Buscher announced four signees during early signing period. They include 5-9 guard Piper Francis (Mountain View, Missouri), 5-10 guard Tori Handley (Jeffersonville, Indiana), 5-11 forward Mikayla Kinnard (Louisville, Kentucky) and Ajulu Thatha (Indianapolis, Indiana).
• SIUE is 20-0 under Coach Buscher when scoring 80 or more points. The Cougars scored a season-high 82 points in the win over Chicago State.
