SIUE won its third straight game with a 73-52 victory over Tennessee State in front of a record Field Trip day crowd of 3,575 at the Vadalabene Center. Nakiah Bell led SIUE in scoring with 17 points.
SCOUTING EASTERN ILLINOIS
The Panthers have four players averaging more than 10 points per game and are led by Grace Lennox with 15.8 per contest. Erica Brown is second with 11.8 per game as well as a team-leading 8.2 rebounds per contest. Eastern Illinois is second in the OVC on field goal percentage at 42.3 percent.
Dating back to the 1980-81 season when SIUE statistics started, Eastern Illinois holds a 14-7 edge in the series. SIUE, however, is on a five-game winning streak in the series.
LEADING THE NATION
Gwen Adams is No. 1 nationally in free throw percentage at 93.5 percent. She has hit 86 of 92 from the charity stripe this season, including all six of her attempts at UT Martin.
HITTING FREE THROWS
SIUE hit better than 80 percent of its free throws for the seventh time this season, connecting on 19-22 (86.4 percent) against Tennessee State.
Freshman Cloe Churchill turned in season and career highs against Tennessee State. She scored six points and added six rebounds in Wednesday's win.
HITTING THE BOARDS
Amri Wilder set a new career high at UT Martin with eight rebounds. Her previous career best had been five.
In SIUE's first five games this season, the Cougars were outrebounded by more than four rebounds per contest. Over the last five games, SIUE has outrebounded its opponents by more than 12 rebounds per game.
After Sydney Bauman recorded back-to-back double-doubles against Murray State and Southeast Missouri, Donshel Beck picked up her second double-double of the season at UT Martin. The Cougars have seven total double-doubles as Gwen Adams leads the team with three.

SIUE is second in the OVC and 72nd nationally in free throw percentage at 72.8 percent.
SIUE faces OVC leader Belmont next Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee.
SIUE has three current players among the top 40 in scoring all-time and each are playing in their third season at SIUE. Adams is tied for 31st all-time with 864 points. Beck is in 33rd overall with 828 points. Micah Jones is 38th with 685 points.
Nakiah Bell has emerged as SIUE's top threat from three-point range. She is fourth in the OVC with 50 three-pointers.
