Micah Jones led all players with 17 points, and the Cougar freshman added a team-best three assists. CoCo Moore, playing in her first game since the UT Martin win, shot 5 of 7 from the field and finished with 11 points.

SCOUTING JACKSONVILLE STATE
Candace Morton finished the regular season as the team's leading scorer with 16.7 points per game. The Gamecocks are coming off a 71-69 overtime win over second-seeded Belmont. Jacksonville State won six out of its last nine games and were 4-2 overall against OVC West Division teams.
JONES TOP FRESHMAN IN OVC
Micah Jones won the OVC Freshman of the Week award three times and the Player of the Week once. The center from Cowden, Ill., is averaging 10.8 points per game.
LEADER OF THE PACK
Tierny Austin leads the team in scoring with 13.0 points per game. She missed six games due to injuries this season but was the team's leading scorer in 10 of 29 games this season.
SIUE held first-place UT Martin to 62 points. The Skyhawks swept into the Feb. 8 game averaging 92 points a game in OVC play. SIUE halted UT Martin's 10-game winning streak.
FIRST TIME THIS SEASON
In SIUE's 11 victories this season, the Cougars have recorded some interesting traits. In wins, SIUE has fewer three-point field goal attempts and a better field goal percentage than its opponents.
SO YOU WANT TO BE A COACH
Jazmin Hill will be the lone participant from an Ohio Valley Conference school at the "So You Want to Be A Coach" three-day workshop. She will attend the event April 4-6 in conjunction with the WBCA National Convention in Nashville, Tenn. Nashville also is the site for this year's Women's Final Four with the OVC and the Nashville Sports Council sharing hosting duties.
SIUE's 16-point victory over Austin Peay was its largest win of the OVC season. It also adds up to a 26-point turnaround, having lost by 10 against the Lady Govs. That's not the biggest turnaround of the season for the Cougars as SIUE defeated UT Martin by three points after falling to the Skyhawks by 39 (+42 differential).
ON THE BLOCK
Raven Warford leads the Cougars and is third in the OVC in blocks with 36 after recording one against Austin Peay. It is the most blocks by a Cougar since Crystal Gladson blocked 40 shots during the 2000-01 season. She is ranked 106th nationally.
