IPFW lost four straight games in the Preseason WNIT to Wichita State, Indiana, Loyola, and Mt. St. Mary's before rebounding to win its last two contests at home against SIU Carbondale and Grace. No. 11 Amanda Hyde leads the team with a 17.8 scoring average.

SIUE has had back-to-back games of just nine turnovers. The last time the Cougars had back-to-back games of 10 or less turnovers was during the 1993-94 season when the Cougars had five turnovers against Oakland City (2/24/94) and eight against Quincy (2/26/94).

SIUE has averaged scoring 35 of its 62 points this season in the paint. Opponents have averaged 26 points per game.
THREE IN DOUBLE FIGURES
CoCo Moore leads three Cougars averaging double figures in scoring with 14.5 per game. Austin is second with 13.5 per game followed by Wendt with 10.5 per contest.
DECK THE HALLS
Allyssa Decker leads the Cougars in field goal percentage at 59.1 percent and is second overall in the OVC. She hit 4 of 5 shots in the loss to UIC.
Austin, a junior, became the 36th player in school history to record 600 career points after collecting 21 against Kansas City.
Jazmin Hill played 38 minutes in her return to the Cougar lineup against UIC. She scored four points, including her first three-pointer of the season. Hill has 175 three-pointers in her collegiate career, second best all-time.
SIUE recorded more offensive rebounds against UIC (17) than defensive rebounds (13). The Cougars achieved that five times last season.
SIUE, coming off its first appearance in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament, will play teams from 10 different conferences and eight teams that advanced to postseason play in 2012-13. The list of teams in the postseason are:
Delaware (NCAA), Kansas (NCAA), UT Martin (NCAA), Eastern Illinois (WNIT), Missouri (WNIT), Wyoming (WNIT), Belmont (WBI), and Eastern Kentucky (WBI).
Austin, who averaged 11.4 points per game last season, was named to the Ohio Valley Conference's preseason All-OVC team. The 10-person team includes five players who have not previously been named All-OVC.
