REGULAR SEASON FINALE: SIUE wraps up regular season play with Saturday's match at Western Michigan.

WHAT'S AT STAKE: The Cougars and Broncos are tied for second place. With a win Saturday, SIUE would earn the No. 2 seed. Akron has claimed the regular season title and will host the semifinals and final of the MAC Tournament. If SIUE falls to third or fourth, the Cougars would host a quarterfinal match Tuesday at SIUE.

SERIES STUFF: The Cougars and Broncos have faced one another three times, each meeting coming since SIUE joined the MAC in 2017. The Cougars have not beaten the Broncos. Western Michigan won a 1-0 decision in Kalamazoo in 2017. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw last season in Edwardsville.

LEADERS: Jorge Gonzalez remains the MAC leader in goals (9) and points (23). Goalkeeper Noah Heim leads the conference in saves (55) and saves per game (5.00)

UP NEXT: SIUE will play in the MAC Tournament Tuesday in Edwardsville or Friday in Akron, Ohio.
