THE COUGARS: Had a seven-game unbeated streak snapped last week at Akron.  
SERIES STUFF: Tonight is only the third meeting all-time between the two schools. The Mountaineers own a 2-0 lead in the series. West Virginia netted an overtime winner in the team's first meeting in 2017. Last year the Cougars surrendered five goals in a road loss.
