TONIGHT: Is the second of three consecutive home games for the Cougars. 
 
AT THE HELM: Cale Wassermann is in his first season as SIUE's head coach. He is the eighth head coach in program history. 
 
HOMECOMING: The Cougars defeated Central Arkansas Saturday to run their record to 12-0 in Homecoming games since the return to NCAA Division I in 2008.  
 
SERIES STUFF: SIUE and Western Illinois have faced one another 22 times in men's soccer, but haven't played since 2010. The Cougars own a slim 10-9 advantage in the series, with three ties. The Leathernecks have won the last two meetings. 
 
OVERTIME: SIUE has already played four overtime games this year, including each of the last three games. The Cougars are 1-2-1 in overtime games this season. Last year SIUE played five overtime games the entire season. The school record for overtime games in a season is nine, both in 2014 and again in 2016.
 
SCORING LEADERS: Jorge Gonzalez is the leading scorer in the Mid-American Conference. He has a league-best seven goals and 15 points. His seven total goals rank No. 11 in the NCAA. He has three game-winning goals, which ranks sixth in the NCAA.
