YOUTH SOCCER / CAMPER REUNION NIGHT: SIUE soccer camp attendees and any youth player 8th grade and under receive free admission to the game. Family, friends and those players or campers in 9th grade and above can purchase tickets for $3.
TONIGHT: SIUE men's soccer opens its second season in the Mid-American Conference. The Cougars are currently on a three-game winning streak and a four-game unbeaten streak.
STRONG START: SIUE looks to continue the best start to a season in the Division I era. The previous best start came in 2012 when the Cougars were 7-3 through the first 10 games of the season.
PREVIOUSLY: SIUE picked up its second consecutive road win, earning a 2-1 victory at IUPUI. Keegan McHugh and Lachlan McLean scored for the Cougars.
HOMECOMING: With last Saturday's win, the Cougars ran their record to 11-0 in Homecoming games since the return to NCAA Division I in 2008.
SCORING LEADERS: McLean and Jorge Gonzalez are 1-2 in scoring for SIUE. McLean has 14 points (5 goals, 4 assists) which is good for second in the MAC. His five goals rank him third in the league. Gonzalez has six goals, which is second in the MAC. His 12 points are third.
SERIES STUFF: The Cougars and Huskies have face off 22 times in a series which dates back to the 1972 season. SIUE owns a 14-7-1 advantage in the all-time series. The Huskies have a 2-1-1 edge in the series since the Cougars moved back to Division I play. SIUE scored a 1-0 win last year in DeKalb, Illinois.
