TONIGHT: The Cougars look to continue one of the best starts to a season in the Division I era. In 2012, the Cougars were 7-2 through the first nine games of the season.
 
PREVIOUSLY: SIUE celebrated Homecoming with a 2-0 win over Belmont in front of 3,918 fans Saturday night at Korte Stadium. Lachlan McLean and Ado Jahic scored for the Cougars. 
 
HOMECOMING: With Saturday's win, the Cougars ran their record to 11-0 in Homecoming games since the return to NCAA Division I in 2008. 
 
SCORING LEADERS: Jorge Gonzalez and McLean are tied for the scoring lead for SIUE this year. They each have 12 points, which also is tied for second in the Mid-American Conference. Gonzalez has six goals, which is second in the MAC. McLean has four goals and four assists. He is fourth in the league in assists.
 
SERIES STUFF: The Cougars and Jaguars have met four times. SIUE holds a 2-1-1 edge in the series. The last three meetings have come in Edwardsville. SIUE's only loss in the series came in Indianapolis in 2009.
