TONIGHT: The Cougars look to continue one of the best starts to a season in the Division I era. In 2012, the Cougars were 6-2 through the first eight games of the season.

HOMECOMING: SIUE celebrates Homecoming this weekend. The Cougars are 10-0 in Homecoming games since the return to NCAA Division I in 2008. Last year, SIUE scored a 3-1 win over Bowling Green on Homecoming. It was the Cougars' first-ever game in the Mid-American Conference. 

LAST TIME OUT: The Cougars outpaced Valparaiso for a 3-2 in Valparaiso, Indiana Tuesday. Jorge Gonzales scored twice for SIUE.

SCORING LEADERS: Gonzalez and Lachlan McLean are 1-2 in scoring for SIUE again this year. Gonzalez has six goals for 12 points. Both totals are second in the MAC. McLean has three goals and four assists for 10 points. He is tied for third in the MAC in scoring and assists.

SERIES STUFF: SIUE and Belmont have faced off three times in men's soccer. All three have come since the Cougars returned to Division I play. SIUE owns a 2-1 edge in the series and has won the last two meetings, both of which have come in Edwardsville.
