SIUE Golf Finishes First Round of The Jackrabbit

VALENTINE, Neb. – SIUE shot a 304 in the first round of The Jackrabbit contested Sunday at the Prairie Club.

The Cougars are tied for 11th after the first round. Central Florida has a 281 (-1) to lead the team competition. Kansas is a shot behind in second place. Missouri (288) is even and in third place.

Kyle Slattery leads SIUE and is tied for 17th with a 73 (+1). Grant Gavin has a 76 and is tied for 36thplace. Albert Nilsson is tied for 47th with a 77. Brooks Jungbluth has a 78 and is tied for 51st. Conor Dore is tied for 62nd at 80.

Omaha's Kevin Gordon and Harry Hillier of Kansas are tied the top spot with a five-under-par 67.

The Jackrabbit, hosted by South Dakota State, continues with the second round Monday.
