Tonight's game is the final game of a three-game homestand for the Cougars. 

Eastern Kentucky is tied with Morehead State for the most wins in the OVC with 10. The Colonels defeated Eastern Illinois 100-81 Thursday in Charleston, Ill. Glenn Cosey is third in the OVC in scoring, averaging 19.8 points a game and leads the league with 3.6 three-pointers per game.

Morehead State fended off a furious comeback attempt by SIUE Thursday night to escape with a 70-63 at Vadalabene Center. The Cougars trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half and trailed 62-51 with 5:51 left in the game before a 9-0 run trimmed Morehead State's lead to 62-60 with 2:39 left. Angelo Warner snapped the run with a jumper to put the Eagles ahead 64-60 with 2:22 left. Keaton Jackson sank one of two free throw attempts with 1:10 to play for a 65-63 score. Morehead State scored the game's final five points, including three from the foul line.

Tonight marks the sixth meeting between the two schools in men's basketball. The Cougars have won twice in the series.
