CONFERENCE CALL: SIUE is playing its eighth Ohio Valley Conference season in 2019. The Cougars have surpassed last year's win total (6) already. Through eight series this year, SIUE is 90-141 all-time in league play. The Cougars' best finish was third in 2015 when it was 19-11.
TRIPLE THREAT: The Cougar infield trio of Brady Bunten, Jordan Ross and Justin Perkins turned a rare triple play March 27 at Evansville. It was SIUE's first of the Division I era. It is one of two turned this year in the OVC and one of only 14 in Division I baseball.
