Kropp Tabbed SIUE Strength and Conditioning Assistant Coach

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. ? SIUE Athletics announced the appointment of Jackie Kropp as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Kropp has held a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach since August 2008 and comes to SIUE from Loyola where she most recently served as an assistant coach for the men's and women's track and field and cross country teams.

A 2007 graduate of the University of Chicago, Kropp has displayed success both as a student-athlete and as a coach. In four seasons at Loyola, she helped men's and women's distance student-athletes to more than a dozen school records and more than 50 top 10 marks. Loyola won all three conference titles in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field during the 2012-13 season with Kropp in the fold.

Her credentials include USATF Level II Endurance certification. She also has served as a volunteer track and field and cross country coach at Illinois (2008-11) and Louisville (2007-08).

As a student-athlete at Chicago, Kropp earned All-American honors with the distance medley relay team. She also helped the cross country squad to a 19th-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division III Championships. Kropp was a four-time All-Conference and All-Academic choice with the Maroons.

Kropp received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences at Chicago and a master's in sport management at Illinois (2012). She added a master's of business administration (international business) from Loyola in 2016.
