Kendall Paulus, a former Iona College standout, joins the staff for the SIUE volleyball program as an Assistant Coach. A four-year letter winner, Paulus started at both the outside and right side hitter positions for the Gaels from 2005 to 2008 while serving as a team captain her final two seasons. Paulus recorded 15 double-doubles in her career and finished with 18 matches where she recorded 10 or more kills. Her career high was 19 against Fairfield. She tallied 675 kills, 64 service aces, 119 total blocks, and 802.5 total points in her career with the Gaels. Paulus earned Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic team honors in each of her four years and was the recipient of the Iona Volleyball Merit Award as a senior for her work on the court, in the classroom, and her service to community. Paulus earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Iona in May 2009. She is pursuing a master's in kinesiology from SIUE. -siue cougars-
