NEXT OPPONENTS: Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky are the fourth and fifth Ohio Valley Conference teams that SIUE faces this season. Morehead State leads the OVC with a 22-7 overall record and a 15-1 mark in league play. Eastern Kentucky is third in the league standings with a 9-7 mark and is 1-8 in non-conference matches.

SERIES STUFF: SIUE is 0-1 all-time against Morehead State and 1-2 against Eastern Kentucky. The Cougar victory over EKU came in 2008.

HOME SCHEDULE: SIUE completed its home schedule with a 6-7 record. The Cougars closed out the home part of the schedule with a five-set loss to Murray State. SIUE had won the first two sets before the Racers raced back to win the next three.

VS. OHIO VALLEY: SIUE is 2-2 this season against OVC competition with wins against Southeast Missouri and UT Martin and a pair of losses to Murray State. SIUE has four more matches against OVC teams this season - Morehead State, Eastern Kentucky, Austin Peay and Tennessee State.

TWICE MVP: Sydney Winslow, who has been the Most Valuable Player at two tournaments this season, is now sixth on the all-time kills list with 1,125. She needs 55 more kills in the final five matches to pass Kindra Westendorf for fifth on the all-time list.

RPI AND PABLO: SIUE is 244 in the latest RPI (Morehead State is 116, and Eastern Kentucky is 236). The website RichKern.com has a separate ranking system called the "Pablo" with SIUE ranked No. 226. (Morehead State is 83, and EKU is 200.)

FRESHMAN LEADS IN BLOCKS: Kelsey Augustine leads the Cougars in blocking with 0.77 per set. She could become the third freshman in school history to lead the team in blocks (Michelle Gilman in 1995 and Andrea Voss in 2000)

EIGHT MORE: Senior Sydney Winslow needs six more service aces to become the 13th player in school history to record 100 or more service aces.

HEADED TO THE ROAD: SIUE's final five matches this season are on the road. The trip continues Wednesday as the Cougars travel to Western Illinois. The season ends next weekend at Austin Peay and Tennessee State.
