PREVIOUSLY: The Cougars broke through against Western Illinois in overtime with a Courtney Benning game-winning goal. Benning slotted home the goal after a cross from Emily Grahl to win 1-0.

SCOUTING THE BILLIKENS:  Saint Louis comes into Korte Stadium with an undefeated record. Most recently, the Billikens defeated Arkansas State 3-2. The Billikens have totaled 10 goals in their first four games. SLU is led by Alyssa Seitzer who has seven points (2 goals, 3 assists). The Billikens goalkeeper Mary Niehaus has allowed two goals this year. SLU is ranked 11th in the east region of the United Soccer Coaches poll.

SERIES INFO: SIUE holds a 1-3-1 record against Saint Louis. Last season the Cougars dropped a 4-1 decision at Saint Louis. The last meeting between these teams at SIUE was back in 2015 when the Billikens won 2-1. 

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK: SIUE goalkeeper Juli Rossi was named the adidas Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after finishing the game with nine saves and the shutout. Rossi is second in the OVC this season in saves per game (6) and third with 18 total saves. Rossi has spent every minute of the season in net for the Cougar.

FOR THE WIN: Benning has had at least one game winning goal in each of her first three seasons. Benning had game winners against Austin Peay and Eastern Illinois last season. Her first came against Belmont in 2015.

MIGHTY MAESTRO: Grahl has 16 career assists which puts her tied for 10th for career assists at SIUE. She led the team in assists last season with six.

WHAT A SHOT: Peyton Roehnelt leads this year's team in shots with six. Last season she was second on the team with 37 total shots.
POINT LEADER: The Cougars' point leader through three games is Caroline Hoefert with five. She scored twice and had the game winning assist against Cal Poly.

DISCIPLINED: SIUE ranks first in the OVC for fewest team offsides with only one on the season.
