Cougars Conclude Season with Fifth Place Finish

OMAHA, Neb. – SIUE women's golf wrapped up its 2011-2012 season Tuesday with a fifth-place finish at the Creighton Classic. The Cougars finished with a 675.

SIUE finished its season with eight top-five finishes, two top-two finishes and one championship (Western Illinois).

Northern Iowa claimed the team competition with a 635. SIU Carbondale was one stroke back at 636 for second place.

Brooke Hood was SIUE's only top 10 finisher, tied for 10^th with a 162. Brooks White was 15^th with a 165. Courtney Lovegreen tied for 28^th with a 171. Taylor Rumple finished with a 179 to tie for 53^rd. Ashton Stair tied for 62^nd with a 182.

North Dakota State's Amy Anderson earned medalist honors with a 149.
