SIUE Eighth after First Round at IPFW

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – SIUE women's golf is eighth of 10 teams after the first round at the IPFW Spring Classic. The Cougars have a combined score of 340 after the first 18 holes.

Indianapolis is leading the team competition with a 322. Chicago State is second with a combined 327.

Brooke Hood leads SIUE with a first round 82 to tie with four other golfers for 12th place. Courtney Lovegreen is tied for 24th with an 84. Ashton Stair and Taylor Rumple each have first round scores of 87 to tie for 30th. Brooks White is tied for 42nd with an 89. Ravyn Rodgers, competing as an individual, is 64th with a 97.

Four golfers have a first round 78 to tie for the individual lead.

The tournament, being held at the Pine Valley Country Club, concludes with the final round Monday.
