Cougars Seventh after First Day at Green Bay Fall Invitational

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Competing in its first tournament of the 2011 fall season, the SIUE women's golf team is currently seventh among 10 teams at the Green Bay Fall Invitational. SIUE has a combined score of 327 after the first round.

Brooks White is tops on the team, and is tied for 18^th after carding a first-round 80. Freshman Ashton Stair isn't far behind. Stair fired a first round score of 81 and is tied for 21^st after her first collegiate round. Courtney Lovegreen has an 82, good for a tie fo 23^rd. Taylor Rumple is tied for 38^th with an 84. Brooke Hood has an 86 and is tied for 48^th.

Lewis University leads the team competition with a 309 after the first round. Loyola's Ann Vrdolyak leads the individuals. She is even with a 73.

Play concludes with the final round Tuesday at the Green Bay Country Cub.
