Lindsey Selected as adidas® Athlete of the Week

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE junior William Lindsey was selected as the adidas® Athlete of the Week after being named Ohio Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week Tuesday.

Lindsey broke his own SIUE record in the 60-meter hurdles last month at the Saluki Fast Start with a winning time of 8.05 seconds. He also picked up a pair of victories running a personal-best time in the 600-meter run (1:22.77 seconds) before anchoring the 1,600-meter relay team to a first-place finish (3:19.71).
