A five-time All-American, Doug Burke helped SIUE continue the streak of national crowns. Burke earned All-American honors in singles from 1981 to 1983 and earned doubles All-American honors in 1982 and 1983. In 1982, he teamed with Ken Flach to win the NCAA Division II doubles crown. He has continued his lifelong passion for tennis as the national director of Tennis Jamaica which seeks to lay the foundation for the youth of Jamaica to become successful amateur and professional tennis players.
