Early Goals Carry Oakland

         ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland scored twice in the first four minutes and defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 2-0 in men's college soccer action.
         SIUE falls to 4-7-1 on the season. Oakland improved to 12-4-0.
         Scoring goals for the Golden Grizzlies were Stefan St. Louis who took a shot out of the corner, scoring unassisted 2:18 into the game. The second goal was scored by Ian Daniel off a header from a corner kick at 4:22.
         The Cougars were outshot 15-6. SIUE goalkeeper Nick Frasca grabbed five saves. For Oakland, Steve Clark earned the shut out while collecting two saves.
         SIUE next faces Belmont in Nashville, Tenn., on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
