SIUE, Rockhurst Tie 1-1

          KANSAS CITY, MO. -- No. 13 Rockurst and No. 24 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville settled for a 1-1 tie Sunday in men's college soccer action.
          SIUE, now 3-1-1 overall, handed Rockhurst its first blemish of the season. The Hawks are now 5-0-1 and 2-0-1 in the GLVC. SIUE is now 3-0-1 in league play.
          The Cougars took the lead at 55:24 when Kevin Bielicki headed the ball from five yards out on a crossing pass by Adam Lanter.
          Rockhurst evened up the score at 77:55 when Haggai Leboo scored on a direct kick from 20 yards out off an SIUE foul.
          SIUE's Bob Ridder had the best chance to win the game in the first overtime period when his shot hit the left post but did not find its way into the net passed Rockhurst goalie Chad Becker.
          SIUE goalkeeper Greg Crook was strong in goal with five saves. Rockhurst outshot the Cougars 11-7.
          SIUE is now idle until Friday when it plays host to UW-Parkside in a 7:30 p.m. game at Korte Stadium.
