Second Round Results

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – With just one round remaining, SIUE golf is sixth at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships. The Cougars fired a 299 Tuesday and have a combined 595 through two rounds.

Conor Dore paces the Cougars. He carded a 71 Tuesday and has a 147. He is tied for 12th overall. Jordan Harre has a 148 and is tied for 15th Danny Gorman is tied for 22nd with a 150. Kyle Slattery is one stroke behind Gorman with a 151. He is 27th. Brady Dixon is tied for 35th at 154.

Jacksonville State's Jesus Montenegro, the OVC Freshman of the Year, is leading the individual race at 140.

SIUE sits sixth at 595. The Cougars are just four strokes out of third place. Jacksonville State continues to lead the tournament. The Gamecocks are one-under par at 575. Eastern Kentucky is second at 585 (+9). Morehead State is at 591 for third place.

The Cougars will pair with Tennessee Tech and Belmont during Wednesday's final round and will tee off beginning at 9:40 a.m.
