Golf Travels to Mizzou as Regular Season Comes to Close

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's golf plays its final regular season team event, taking part in the second annual Missouri Tiger Invitational Monday and Tuesday.

The Cougars have two second-place finishes this spring and three top-five finishes. SIUE finished fourth at the Tiger Invitational last year.

The Tiger Invitational takes place at The Club at Old Hawthorne. It is a par 72 and plays at 7,221 yards. The first two rounds will be played Monday with the final 18-hole round set for Tuesday. An 8 a.m. shotgun start is scheduled for both days.

The field of 19 includes host Missouri, Central Arkansas, Creighton, Drake, Illinois State, IUPUI, Kansas State, Loyola-Chicago, Missouri State, Morehead State, Oral Roberts, North Dakota State, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Seattle, South Dakota, South Dakota State and UMKC.
