Golf at Illinois State for Weekend Tournament

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE travels 150 miles north to Illinois State for the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate, which will be played Saturday and Sunday. Both days feature a shotgun-start at 8:30 a.m.

The Cougars enter the tournament with the best scoring average in the Ohio Valley Conference at 288.4. SIUE has three top-four finishes this spring, including two second-place finishes.

The tournament returns to the schedule for the first time since 2015-16, when it was a fall event. Illinois State did not host the event last season.

This season's tournament will be contested at Illinois State's Weibring Golf Club, which is a par 71 and plays at a yardage of 6,915.

The 17-team field also includes host Bradley, Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Drake, Duke, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Illinois State, Northern Illinois, UNI, Oakland, Valparaiso, Western Illinois and Wisconsin.
