Men's Golf Travels to Nevada for Jackrabbit Invitational

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE golf returns to South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational Friday and Saturday. The Cougars last played in the tournament in 2015.

SIUE is coming off a second-place finish at the Loyola Intercollegiate and currently boasts the lowest team scoring average in the Ohio Valley Conference. Five SIUE golfers are among the top 11 in individual scoring average in the OVC.

The Jackrabbit Invitational will be contested at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The course is a par 72 and will play at 7,402 yards. Teams will play 36 holes Friday before playing the final 18-hole round Saturday.

The 15-team field includes SIUE, host South Dakota State, Alabama, Binghamton, Creighton, Detroit, Nevada, Northern Illinois, Northern Kentucky, South Dakota, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, UNLV, Youngstown State and Weber State.
