GOODYEAR, Ariz. – SIUE Golf returns to the course to open the Spring portion of the schedule at the Loyola Intercollegiate Sunday and Monday.
The tournament will be played at the Palm Valley Golf Club – Palms Course. It's a par 72, 7,015 yard course in Goodyear, Arizona.
"We are excited to start our spring season down in Arizona," SIUE Head Coach Derrick Brown said. "It is a golf course that most of our guys have played in past years and have experience playing multiple times. It will be a very good field, but we are going down to compete at a high level and continue our good play from the fall season."
Two rounds will be played on Sunday, with one on Monday. Both days will be a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start,
The Cougars are part of a field of 19 teams, which also includes host Loyola-Maryland, and OVC foes Murray State and UT Martin. The rest of the field: Air Force, Army West Point, Charleston, Connecticut, DePaul, Drake, Eastern Michigan, Gonzaga, Hartford, Missouri State, Seton Hall, Siena, St. John's, Towson and Xavier.
