Golf Completes First Round at Air Force

First Round Results

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – SIUE golf opened its 2017 fall season Friday at The Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, hosted by Air Force.

The Cougars are 17th after one round of play. SIUE combined for a 301. Colorado State leads the team standings with a 282. Colorado and Wyoming are second at 284. UTEP is fourth at 285 and UNLV has a 286 for fifth place.

Conor Dore leads the Cougars with a 72 (E), which ties him for 24th place. Kyle Slattery has a 75, which is tied for 65th. Brady Dixon is tied for 77th with a 76. Danny Gorman and Spencer Underwood are tied for 93rd with a 78.

Four golfers are tied for the lead. Colorado's Yannik Paul, Northern Colorado's Andrew Romano, Utah State's Andy Hess and Wyoming's John Murdock all have a 67 to lead the way.

The second round gets underway Saturday at the Eisenhower Golf Course.
