Cougars Finish Eighth at Snowman Getaway

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – SIUE men's golf finished eighth at the Snowman Getaway, completed Tuesday at Palm Valley Golf Club.

SIUE finished with a combined score of 899. UMKC took the team title with a combined 877.

Alex Knoll led the Cougars with a final-round 73 to finish with a 224 to tie for 23^rd. Mitchell Homb finished two strokes behind with a 226 to tie for 35^th. Colin McCarty finished 50^th with a 229. Taylor Cox and Taylor White both finished a 230 to tie for 51^st.

UCLA's Mario Clemens, competing as an individual, took individual honors with a 208.

SIUE returns to action Mon., March 5 at the Samford Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
