Cougars Finish 17th at Arkansas State

JONESBORO, Ark. – SIUE men's golf finished 17^th of 22 teams at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate, completed Tuesday at RidgePointe Country Club. The Cougars finished with a combined score of 899.

Arkansas Little Rock captured the team competition with an 848.

Alex Knoll was SIUE's best finisher, tying for 50^th with a 222. Mitchell Homb finished two strokes back of Knoll with a 224 to tie for 61^st. Taylor Cox finished with a 225 to tie for 67^th. Grant Wynia had a 229 to finish in 87^th place. Taylor White tied for 88^th with a 230. Colin McCarty tied for 94^th with a 232.

Arkansas State's Sawyer Radler defeated Vanderbilt's Charlie Ewing and Will Snipes on the fourth playoff hole to take medalist honors.

The Cougars will compete at Indiana's NYX Hoosier Invitational Saturday and Sunday.
