Nick Baltz
HALL OF FAME
An All-American pitcher for the baseball Cougars in 1975, Nik Baltz
was a part of four NCAA Tournament teams from 1972 to 1975. He
ended his collegiate career with a record of 16-5 with four saves.
With 203 innings pitched, Baltz was handed starting duties 20 times
and had 18 complete games. His 1.27 earned run average in 1975 is
the second best in school history and was not broken for more than
30 years. He also holds the second-lowest career earned run average
at 2.00.<br>\
