Baseball Adjusts Camp Date
Due to unforeseen field conditions, SIUE baseball has announced its camp for players in grades 9-12 has been postponed until Oct. 20. The camp was originally scheduled for Aug. 11.

SIUE baseball has canceled a four-day youth skills camp at the Simmons Baseball Complex originally scheduled for Aug. 6-9.

Stoecklin Named Acting Head Baseball Coach
Following a legend is never easy. In some minds, that is exactly what Tony Stoecklin will have to do. Stoecklin has been named SIUE baseball’s Acting Head Coach. Stoecklin assumes the duties from Gary Collins who has taken the position of Director of Development for Cougar Athletics.

Collins Transitions from Head Coach to Development
When SIUE baseball takes the field for the 2013 season, it will do so without Gary “Bo” Collins, for the first time in 34 years. Collins has assumed the duties of SIUE’s first solely‑dedicated director of development for Intercollegiate Athletics.

Cougar Baseball Adds Schuster, Michalak
SIUE baseball has added two more to its roster. Pitcher P.J. Schuster (Darien, Ill.) and Jake Michalak (Cincinnati, Ohio) have each agreed to join the Cougars for the 2013 season, according to Associate Head Coach Tony Stoecklin.
