The SIUE Cheer and Dance Program is a Division I Spirit Squad comprised of two components: cheer/stunt athletes and technically-trained dancers. The two teams are committed to working together to promote SIUE Athletics by creating a cooperative spirit between the teams, the student body and the athletic community. Both components are administered through the SIUE Athletics Department. Our goal is to support Cougar Athletics, enhance game excitement, and encourage crowd involvement. The SIUE Cheer and Dance Team will perform at all men's and women's home basketball games, as well as campus events and city-wide events by invitation. The team is available to provide promotional, marketing and performance support at other events as requested.
