Brent Rynearson is in his first year working with the Event Management team at SIUE. He assists with facility set-up and management at all Cougar home events. Rynearson, originally from Glasford, Ill., received his bachelor of arts in speech communication from SIUE in August 2010. While at SIUE, Rynearson spent four seasons as part of the baseball Cougars, appearing in 62 games and collecting nine RBIs in his career. Primarily and outfielder, Rynearson appeared 14 times out of the bullpen his senior season, finishing with a 1-1 record and the second-lowest ERA on the staff at 6.27. He struck out 14 hitters in 18.2 innings pitched. Rynearson is no stranger to the gameday atmosphere at SIUE. He worked with the event staff on gamedays as an undergraduate, even performing as "Cory the Cougar" during basketball season. He is currently pursuing an MBA at SIUE.
